Tommy Hilfiger demonstrates its commitment to remain at the forefront of innovation
By attending Metaverse Fashion Week at Decentraland, renowned haute couture brand Tommy Hilfiger has once again demonstrated its commitment to staying at the forefront of innovation. As the event approached, Tommy Hilfiger said: “When I founded my namesake label in 1985, I never imagined that fashion weeks would one day take place in a completely virtual 3D world.
As we continue to explore the metaverse and all it has to offer, I am inspired by the power of digital technology and the opportunities it offers to connect with communities in exciting and relevant ways.
Recall that in 2020 he introduced Tommy Hilfiger Virtual store on Tommy Island in the game Animal Crossing. Then, in 2021, he signed a partnership agreement with Roblox, a video game that features various immersive universes.
Earlier this year, the brand launched the Team Tommy project, which aims to create a community of fans and consumers of its products. He then presented his spring 2022 collections during MVFW to the delight of his fans.
Tommy Hilfiger has long been in the metaverse and continues to expand its presence there, as well as big brands such as Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Burberry, Este Lauder and Nike. Note that the brand has just launched a virtual store called Tommy Play in the Roblox metaverse.
